We offer a wide range of delivery options. The delivery method we use varies according to container size and site access. Moreover, it’s important that you let us know the preferred door direction for your container before it is loaded on the truck as this will determine how it’s positioned on site. Our most widely used shipping container delivery methods are:
Tilt-tray’s are the most common form of delivery. These trucks are generally used to transport 20ft containers. However, larger tilt-trays are also capable of shifting 40ft containers too. These trucks are referred to as super tilt-trays. Essentially, the truck will reverse into position and slide the container off the back of the tray.
More often than not, these trucks deliver 40ft shipping containers. They are equipped with a crane at either end which picks up the container and places it along the driver’s side of the vehicle. Being a semi-trailer, you will need plenty of access at your property for delivery to take place.
HIAB trucks are the most versatile transport option. These trucks feature a mounted crane that is able to place containers just about anywhere. This means they can position on various angles, over a fence and even on a platform. HIAB Transporters can deliver 10ft, 20ft, and 40ft containers.
