Beaudesert · Scenic Rim
Beaudesert is planned with Jimboomba, then the range begins
Scenic Rim deliveries are covered alongside the Jimboomba work, which is why a Beaudesert job is priced on the lane you describe. The town is the last easy bit. Past it, toward Canungra, Rathdowney and Kooralbyn, the lanes narrow, the creeks rise, and a horse property that looked close on a map takes a driver who has been told about the grid. Freight is quoted with the container. The day is confirmed when you order, after that lane has been described by someone who has driven it wet.

With the Jimboomba deliveries, not a Rim depot
Scenic Rim orders are filled from stock held with the Jimboomba and Beaudesert work. The Rim work does not come with a street. The unit is checked before it is loaded. If you are in town (4285), say town. If you are on a ridge past Rathdowney (4287), say that, including how many grids and whether the creek crossing has a concrete base.
Canungra (4275) and the Tamborine Mountain end (4272) add tourists, steep drives and tree canopy. Kooralbyn (4285) is acreage and golf-estate country with a mix of wide entries and rules about what may sit in view. Cedar Vale sits between Jimboomba and Beaudesert and gets claimed by both. Tell us the road, not the regional slogan.
Horses, cattle, hay, and the shed that is already full
The regular use is horse and cattle gear: tack, feed, a vet cupboard, fencing tools, and hay that needs to stay off the ground when a week of rain arrives. A container beside the stables, doors toward the tie-up rail, shortens the carry. It is a poor hay shed if it sits in the full western sun with the doors shut on damp bales. Let the hay dry, or accept that you have bought a mould incubator.
Tradies on acreage — fencers, mechanics, the person whose workshop is a container already — want a second box for parts. Those sites usually have room for a tilt-tray if the float is moved. The failure is a gate that looks wide and a tree that is not. Photograph both.
Town renovations in Beaudesert itself are fewer than the farm jobs but they are real: weatherboard houses, a main street of older shops, furniture that has to leave a building and stay nearby. A 20ft is almost always enough. A 40ft in a Beaudesert back street is a question you should ask only if you have stood in that street with a tape.
Rain on the Scenic Rim, and a box you might move later
The Rim can be green and still greasy. A loaded truck on a clay track after three days of rain is how containers end up in the wrong paddock, which is the paddock the truck could reach. We would rather set the box at the cattle yards near the gravel and let you shift it empty later. Moving an empty container with farm machinery is a normal plan. Pretending the bottom creek flat is a road is not.
Because people here do move boxes between paddocks, think about the first set-down as a place the truck can repeat, with firm corners. Bearers under the castings matter even on a 'temporary' spot. A month becomes three years more often than anyone admits.
Grades still apply. Saddlery and paperwork want a watertight unit. Star pickets do not. If you are unsure, describe what is going in rather than asking for the cheapest box on principle. The 20ft page has the measurements if you are checking a stable yard against the external length before you ring.
Measure the stable yard, not the whole farm
A 20ft is just over six metres long. The useful question is whether that length fits where the doors need to face, which is usually the horses, not the highway.
Scenic Rim questions about lanes and hay
Do Beaudesert deliveries cost the same as a remote run?
They are covered with the Jimboomba work, so the freight follows that pattern rather than a far-north haul. A ridge past Rathdowney is still quoted on the lane you describe. The day is confirmed when you order.
Can we put hay in a container through a wet fortnight?
Only if the hay goes in dry and the unit is actually watertight. Damp bales in a closed box will heat and spoil. A container is not a cure for hay that was baled too soon.
Is there a depot in Beaudesert?
Stock for the Scenic Rim is held with the Beaudesert and Jimboomba work. You will not find a street to turn up at. Photos of the unit are available if you want them before the truck comes out.
Ask for a price
Town, Canungra lane, or a Rathdowney ridge?
Say how many grids and whether the creek crossing is concrete. Horse gear or hay changes the grade we suggest.
