About grades: As-is units are sold as seen and are not sold watertight. Watertight applies to the cargo-worthy / wind-and-watertight (WWT) and new grades only — ask which grade a price refers to.
Why we keep DG units on hand
Plenty of yards only order dangerous goods containers in when asked. We hold them, because a lot of the people who ring us — farms, gas-field contractors, workshops, transport depots — need bunded, ventilated storage to stay compliant and can't sit on their hands waiting.
